1920s fashion is the era that has most influenced fashion today more than any other era in history.  You only have to look back at the SS12 catwalk where you will see the collections of designers such as Gucci, Roberto Cavalli and Marc Jacobs are heavily influenced by the 1920s with cue drop waists, flapper dresses and ultra glamour.
Recently  the trailer for the movie ‘The Great Gatbsy’ was released, directed by the famous Baz Luhrmann, who also directed Moulin Rouge, Australia and Romeo and Juliet, the film is due to be released in December 2012. The film is pretty much guaranteed to be a success! Not just because of its creative direction but also because of its fabulous fashion that celebrates the 1920s, an era of decadence, liberation, and revelry.
